Our Class Offerings:Variety is the Spice of Life

Classical Pilates Mat Classes (All Levels): Mat class is the best way to start your Pilates training. This is where you learn and maintain the fundamentals of Pilates exercises. Mat work improves your core muscle strength, flexibility, balance, and posture. New students are welcome anytime!

Beginning Adult Dance:
This exciting new offering is an exercise class combining stretching, toning and dance.  No
dance experience is necessary. This class is about having fun and feeling good. The class
breakdown is 30 minutes of warm-up including toning, stretching and floor work.  Dance steps
will be broken down and explained to make the beginner comfortable with trying new things.  The whole class is choreographed to music.  The Dance class is focused on dance from start to finish. It begins with a center progressive body warm-up.  This warm-up is fluently choreographed. This teaches the dancer to link the physical skill of movement to the mental thought process of Dance. The class continues with a full Jazz technique, ending with floor stretches preparing the dancer to move across the floor.  Here Leslie incorporates turns, jumps, syncopated isolations etc... The final combination challenges the dancer to use their vocabulary built during the class. Having a strong technique allows the dancer to "let go" and Dance!

Tower Classes: The Tower offers a combination of Pilates mat work with equipment training at a fraction of the cost of private equipment instruction. Many students are attracted to the additional resistance work that the Tower offers. Experience the Tower of Power!

Group Reformer Classes: The Reformer is another piece of equipment invented by Joseph Pilates and we just purchased 5 of the finest portable units available. Again, this offers students the opportunity to train on Pilates equipment at a fraction of the cost of private lessons. Reform your life!

Pilates on the Ball: This class is not for the faint of heart. Ball work requires more stabilizing and balance thereby increasing overall muscle strength and power. Aside form that, the class is also fun! Get on the Ball!

Pilates Circuit Class: Circuit Class is a fun and challenging way to experience all of the above programs (and more) in one class.  Students move from one exercise station to another for timed intervals.  Many students appreciate the social aspect of this class, and laughter is a key component to this offering.  Complete the Circuit!

Private Equipment Training: We offer private one-on-one training as well as semi-private for up to 3 students, in both of our Equipment Rooms.  Our private instructors are the best in the business and are in high demand.  Therefore private training is available only on a limited basis and by appointment only.

Pure Yoga: LEVEL 1 is a slower asana practice that combines floor poses on the mat designed to release deep connective tissue with some more challenging poses to strengthen core musculature. YOGA LEVEL 1 is considered a gentle, basic yoga class, although it may include some standing poses, downward dog, and some modified sun salutations. For students who are just beginning, or early on in their practice. Also good for Injury Recovery and Seniors - A gentle approach for those with special needs.

Pure Yoga:
LEVEL 2 is a flowing vinyasa practice which may include some longer held standing poses, arm balances, inversions and backbends. Continuing/Deeper - For the ongoing practice that continues to develop.

Pure Yoga:
LEVELS 1 + 2: offers modifications to asana practice for all levels of experience.

YinYoga: YinYoga is known as the quiet practice.  It is a relaxed, but concentrated, form of yoga
where each asana is held for 3-5 minutes at a time, with the purpose of opening joints to
aid the effect of the pose, as well as enhancing energy channels within the body for greater
vitality, balance and overall wellness.  It focuses on connective tissue in the body
-- fascia, ligament & bone -- and targets the major joints in the lower body, particu-larly in the areas of the thighs, hips, pelvis, and low spine.  It helps to address contracture in the body that may be result from injury, holding patterns, lack of use or skeletal asymmetries in the body.  Much of the work happens on the floor!  YinYoga is a complementary practice to stronger practices such as vinyasa, power yoga, Pilates, or outdoor activities.
