Announcing a PUBLIC OPEN HOUSE - LUNCHTIME, Saturday, November 15th from 12 noon until 2pm. Please visit our first public open house at our new location since we opened there.  You will have a chance to tour the studio, view live demonstrations, meet our 5 Pilates and Yoga instructors, and ask everything you wanted to know about Pilates and Yoga but were afraid to ask.  Refreshments will be served. You could win a free private lesson or a free beginner session (5 mat classes) simply by entering our raffle.  You can also register for our new beginner session that starts on Wednesday November 19th!

Session 5 is a 10-week session  Wednesday - October 15th through Tuesday December 23rd. 
We are closed on Thanksgiving Day.

NEW CLASS! ADULT BEGINNING DANCE
Essex Pilates and Yoga is pleased to welcome Leslie Unger to the teaching staff. 
She comes to us with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the dance and theater world. Leslie will be teaching Adult Beginning Dance on Fridays at 12 Noon. This exciting new offering is an exercise class combining stretching, toning and dance.  No dance experience is necessary. This class is about having fun and feeling good. The class breakdown is 30 minutes of warm-up including toning, stretching and floor work.  Dance steps will be broken down and explained to make the beginner comfortable with trying new things.  The whole class is choreographed to music.  For complete information about this class GO HERE  Why not become an "adult beginning dance?"


Essex Pilates and Yoga is please to welcome Liza Dousson to the Yoga teaching staff!  Liza comes to us with a world of experience.  Please visit our Instructor Page to read her bio.  Liza is teaching YinYoga on Saturdays at 9:45am. 
YinYoga is known as the quiet practice.  It is a relaxed, but concentrated, form of yoga where each asana is held for 3-5 minutes at a time, with the purpose of opening joints to aid the effect of the pose, as well as enhancing energy channels within the body for greater vitality, balance and overall wellness.  For more information about YinYoga  GO HERE
